program, your academic advisor in
the Advising & Registration Center
makes sure you understand the requirements
necessary for graduation and reviews
your degree program every semester
to check that you are moving full
steam ahead.
- Faculty Advisor
- Your choice of courses and field
of concentration is the focus of
your faculty advisor. Providing
you with timely updates on course
content and current trends in your
field, your faculty advisor is an
invaluable guide to your future. You may
meet with your faculty advisor prior
to course registration to plan for
the upcoming semester.
- Career Planning
Advisor - Making the connection
between your courses and your career
is your career planning advisor.
You'll find out about the courses
that allow you to acquire the skills
most valued by employers, recent
career options that have developed
for your major, and upcoming internship
and job opportunities. To stay focused
on your future, you are encouraged
to work closely with your career
planning advisor starting your first
semester.
